So for this week’s review, I decided to do the second place winner for the poll I had on my Twitter and do Brother Grimm book review. Since there are so many Brother Grimm tales to talk about, I decided to pick a book that I read 3 years ago that had a collection of them: Grim, edited by Christine Johnson as this collection features 17 authors. These stories are based off the fairy tales collected by Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm.
If you are a fan of adaptations, fairy tales & folklore, fantasy & magic, paranormal, short stories or young adult stories, this collection is for you.

Here are the list of 17 short stories:
- The Key by Rachel Hawkins
- Figment by Jeri Smith-Ready
- The Twelfth Girl by Malinda Lo
- The Raven Princess by Jon Skovron
- Thinner than Water by Saundra Mitchell
- Before the Rose Bloomed: A Retelling of The Snow Queen by Ellen Hopkins
- Beast/Beast by Tessa Gratton
- The Brothers Piggett by Julie Kagawa
- Untethered by Sonia Gensler
- Better by Shaun David Hutchinson
- Light it Up by Kimberly Derting
- Sharper than a serpent’s Tongue by Christine Johnson
- A Real Boy by Claudia Gray
- Skin Trade by Myra McEntire
- Beauty and the Chad by Sarah Rees Brennan
- The Pink: A Grimm Story by Amanda Hocking
- Sell Out by Jackson Pearce
To summarize these stories, some were good, some were okay, some were a little confusing, some were crazy. All in all, this is a good book that is still sitting in my cart waiting to be one of my books on my shelves.
Love it

I’ve always loved the Brothers Grimm. My grandad exposed me to plenty of sci-fi and non-fiction.
